This is one of those songs that is often misunderstood based on the lyrics. Mostly it is my fault as the writer, but hey I can write whatever the hell I want, right.
The actual story about this song is people tend to build an invisible wall or protections around themselves, that only allows them to be surrounded by like-minded people – based on their own version. But this actually prevents them from being happier.
These protections can often be in the form of religion, race, social status – where they only want to hangout or date (or sadly, allowed to date) with a certain group.
And on the other side of the story, for someone who is seen as an outsider to the group, just need to be patient as happiness is just waiting around the corner, where and when other people will accept them as they are.
Anyway, enough of the deep story BS and remembering my old sad moments.
Here is “Belum Waktunya” video of just the song and the album image.
Music Video
I actually made a music video in London about this song, when I was living there. I really like the concept that my director friend, Roter (from Uni) envisioned, and it became this music video.

Lyrics
Pernah ku dengar cerita
Tentang seorang manusia
Yang selalu disakiti dan dibenci
Namun hidupnya trus jalan dan tak henti
Bandingkan dengan kita
Yang selalu bersembunyi
Dalam sebuah perlindungan abadi
Begitu banyak yang terlewat di sana
Mungkin kita semua harus
Merasakan pahit dunia
Sebelum kita bahagia
Dan jika kau belum temukan
Bahagia yang kau dambakan
Mungkin memang belum waktunya
Dan janganlah kau bersedih
Kita semua juga pernah
Merasakan apa yang kau rasa saat ini
Namun kita semua mencinta lagi
Tiada manusia yang
Tak pernah sakit hatinya
Semua bagian dari rencanaNya
Dan jika kau belum temukan
Bahagia yang kau dambakan
Mungkin memang belum waktunya
Mungkin kita semua harus
Merasakan pahit dunia
Sebelum kita bahagia
Dan jika kau belum temukan
Bahagia yang kau dambakan
Mungkin memang belum waktunya
Mungkin memang belum waktunya
Mungkin memang belum waktunya
